Visum 3D is a small owner-operated business based in the greater Atlanta, GA area. Owner has 10 years of professional experience in 3D scanning, reverse engineering, rapid prototyping and quality dimensional inspection. Half of that experience has been at the MRO division (maintenance, repair & overhaul) of a major US airline performing 3D scanning related tasks on aircraft and jet engine related components. The other half was spent at a 3D scanning and 3D printing service provider performing 3D scanning related tasks across all types of industries such as the medical devices, power generation, aviation, automotive, theme park and entertainment sectors, and more.
Prior experience includes 10 years in the automotive repair field and a degree in Aerospace Engineering.
To provide 3D scanning and related services to businesses large and small in order to allow them to realize their goals while being more efficient, cost-effective and therefore, more productive.
Continue to foster the growth of 3D scanning as tool used to acquire complex physical geometry that would not be attainable through traditional methods or can achieved more efficiently for better value in the long run.
